Thanksgiving 2020 may be a little more intimate, as Michigan finishes week one of its three-week pause and the CDC recommends a smaller celebration with your immediate family at home.

Despite new restrictions on dining out and public gatherings, there are still plenty of traditions that will carry on. The Detroit Lions will be playing. There will be parades in Detroit and New York City to watch on TV or virtually. There will be time to take a break and examine the things we’re most thankful for. And plenty of area restaurants will offer takeout for Thanksgiving Day dinner.

However you celebrate Thanksgiving Day, here are ideas for just some of the ways you can enjoy the holiday safely from your own home.

Sports | Detroit Lions

NFL: The Detroit Lions will face off against the Houston Texans at 12:30 p.m. on WLNS TV-6 with WSYM Fox 47 airing the game at 4:30 p.m.
